From the replay on the big board at the game, it was a clear targeting penalty.  I don't think he'll be back.

I don't believe it will be targeting. It was helmet to helmet contact but Greenlee was diving to get in front of Jackson. incidental

Big stop there for the Thunder D to only give up 3.

That UMHB FG wasn't good by much.  10-3.  All UMHB points on drives that are less than 40 yards.  Turnovers are the story thus far.

actually what both teams did with the turnovers. MHB has 10 pts and Wheaton got nothing from their pick. MHB defense throttling the Thunder. Wheaton's defense playing very well but they will need some help in the second half. MHB has been an explosive 3rd quarter team. Wheaton will get the ball. The first drive will be key.

I'm not a fan of the targeting rule for D3 football.  I can see it for D1 but that rule and the other rule where the player gets a warning then an ejection seems to be overused.  D3 is for the love of the game with teams and players having respect for one another.

Targeting is the same at any level.  That argument makes no sense.   Respect or no respect, it's about making sure the call is right.

Sola tends to stall in his runs sometimes.  I think they should add some stone Watson on quick dives to see what happens.

Targeting call is upheld. Greenlee is out for the game. Wheaton's best pass rusher. Big issue

Targeting ejection will stand.

Late hits in middle of a dive is not targeting. Its a late hit penalty.

USee

not according the rules. It specifically says it applies to a defenseless runner on the ground, which is what Jackson was.

Wheaton makes great halftime adjustments.  Need them here.

Another bad mistake. All MHB points come from turnovers (2 INTs and blocked punt).
