WLC split with ARV Concordia-WI; 

Both sets went the full 5, Warriors taking the 1st match, Falcons the 2nd.

ARV Dominican over Concordia-Chicago in 3 sets
          (25-17, 25-20, 25-16).

Dominican:  .304 team hitting pct. for match.

Joining #22 Aurora vs. ARV Dominican in progress. (Aurora up 1 set to nil).

3 other NACC North notes:

ARV Concordia-WI won both matches over Edgewood.

Marian pulled off 2 mild upsets, doing the double on MSOE earlier today.

WLC did the double on Lakeland yesterday, and clinched a NACC North playoff spot in the process.

NACC Match 1 Final:

Aurora over Dominican in 4 sets:
       (25-21, 21-25, 25-18, 25-18)

Aurora:  14 service aces in match  Avery  .283 hitting pct.
                            Beebe:  42 assists

Stars need to win Match 2 to stay even at the top of the NACC South.

Aurora, Dominican, Concordia-Chicago and Benedictine are in the NACC South playoffs.

         (25-23, 25-19, 23-25, 10-25, 15-9.)

Dominican:  Outhit the Spartans  .217 to -.037 in Set 5
                   Magiera .391 hitting pct. for match
                   6 Star Teammates also hit .280 or higher

Aurora:  Beebe  49 assists 
             Brown  .571 and Lauer .500 hitting pcts respectively.

Stars salvage a key split and remain tied with the Spartans at the top of the NACC South.

Today's the last day of NACC regular season competition:

NACC South:  All entrants determined, still unclear as to whether Aurora or Dominican has the top South seed.

NACC North:  WLC, CUW and Lakeland are in, Marian, MSOE and Edgewood are still in contention for the final North spot.

Scenario 1:  Marian sweeps CUW, the Sabers get the spot. (WLC gets the #1 seed in the North??)

Scenario 2:  MSOE sweeps Edgewood, CUW sweeps Marian, MSOE gets the spot. MSOE must sweep.

Scenario 3:  Edgewood sweeps MSOE, CUW sweeps Marian, Edgewood gets in.

Scenario 4:  Edgewood and MSOE split, CUW sweeps Marian, Edgewood gets in.

                      (In the event of a virtual tie between Edgewood and Marian, Edgewood swept Marian head to head, those 2 squads can
                           not finish with exact identical regular season in-NACC records.)

The loss eliminates the Raiders from NACC post-season competition:

(MSOE could still tie Marian at 2-6 in conference, but Marian swept the Raiders head to head).

CUW over Marian in 3 sets in their Match 1

The NACC North playoff entrant will be determined by Marian/CUW Match 2 result.

If the Sabers salvage a split, they're in, a Falcon sweep and Edgewood is in.
