Just bought my flight for the game.

I feel like a kid on Christmas morning.

On This Day in 1895:

Wabash called their field "Philistine Field" back in the day ??

EDIT:  I went to Google to try and find more info - in the very short time between posting this and looking it up, Google's spiders had already crawled and cross referenced *this* post.  I don't know whether to be impressed or frightened at that level of efficiency!

Hey Ron,

That was indeed the name, per Jim Amidon.  It should be noted that I made the clip 2 yrs ago, so Google had some time to do its thing...

It is East College, but if you listen/watch closely you'll note that I don't reference it as a game photo -- the earliest known image we have from a DP-WA game is 1907.  The first bunch of MMs were creative writing exercises!

Well played, sir.  Creative indeed.  And thanks again for your effort in compiling the series!  Will we see you in the visitor's lot this year?

BRBEAR, my ticket is purchased and ol' Bill should be buffing the wax on V.O.L. right about now.  I've instructed him to change the brake lights from red to gold.

Danny, I'll be all over the place on game day-- see you then!

The Depauw website is reporting that only "1,700 Monon Bell Tickets Remain." It sounds like we might sell out our allotment before the end of the week.

I wonder if the cave boyzz will be returning some tickets this year. ;)
