Who would Wabash be returning tickets to for a game that Wabash is hosting?

Does anyone have the total number of tickets released for the Bell this year?

Why should you go for it on 4th down?

I thought I read 4000 released to DPU.  I can't find it now.  Maybe it was in the DePauw paper I read this weekend.  I think DPU usually keeps several 100 back for VIPs.  So maybe each school had 5000.  As of yesterday, 800 remain.  That surprises me.  Usually DPU sells out in a week or less.

Actually, since W added another extra section of seats to the visitors side about 4 years ago, DP has not sold out its share of tix (the game is a sellout every year its in Greencastle).  I believe that will change this time, as it appears all the DP tickets will be gone by game time.

I'll bet you a sixer of your favorite domestic macrobrew that the ticket ratio is not 50/50.

Definitely isn't at Hollett.  That big huge bleacher in the end zone HAS to give Wabash more seats than DePauw.  There's no way around it.  I'd guess it's flipped the other way at Blackstock for the same reason, but I'm not quite as certain about that.  Feels like there's an awful lot of Wabash red on that side every year....

I've instructed him to change the brake lights from red to gold.

Which I suspect will result in one of a handful of rear-endings you'll receive that weekend.

Way to keep it classy gobash.

Depauw website is posting only 550 Monon tickets left.

Wes, You probably notice the excess of red because every Wabash man, student or alumnus would go the game if he was breathing and could get a ticket. Now DePauw, some of their students must have a limited attention span or limited tolerance for football, particularly those of the female species, and leave apparently having other fish to fry. I could be charitable and assume they're heading for the varsity library, but I rather suspect that many regret not going to Indianoplace to check the shops on such a nice fall weekend. Is there a Nordstom's there yet?

Yeah, sorry for taking the wind out of your sails by beating you to the first gay joke.  Seemed like the easiest way to defuse your explosive sense of humor.  Now I guess you'll have to switch to your comedy gold back-up of "DaBash".

Ah yes...that old chestnut.  I can't wait.

The ticket spread isn't 50/50 at either location.  These aren't neutral site games.  I wouldn't be surprised if Wabash has a larger home crowd advantage in even numbered years than DPU does when they host...because Wabash stopped capping the attendance at around 8,000 about 8 years ago.  DPU still prefers to keep attendance limited, which means less access for everybody.  Reason #342 why Bell games are better at the Hollett.

gobash, it's been awhile; welcome to the party!  You just now getting here or did it take a week to think of that zinger?  As long as no DPU men get abducted by Wabash frats, we will keep our butt cherries.  Will the Wallies have enough steam to play for the Bell after Wittenberg hands you another loss this weekend?

Serious question for all -- Will Monon still be "the last game every fall" when DePauw joins the NCAC?  I can't seem to find the answer.

Looking forward to the game.  And God Bless Jimmy Ibbotson.

This quote sums up "DABASH" perfectly.

The only reason every Dabash boy would not make the game is because, they cant afford the $16 dollar ticket because a technical college degree from DaBash was only good enough for a job at Carl Jr's, they are incredibly lazy and can't get off the couch to make the trip from any of the small towns in that black hole of banality called Indiana, because a trip to Crawfordsburg is so far and the 85' Camero is on the fritz, or going to the game would be a public display of a Cave Boy failing to find an appropriate life partner to fit in with the other boyzzz.

Depauw's limited attention span could be the result of many different things. Either the fans have tired of watching the subpar product Dabash has pulled together; they have better things to do than watch Depauw thump Dabash 36-14, 21-7, or 42-7; they want to get out of town before dark due to the criminal element for which Crawfordsburg is known; or, after staring across the field at a sea of boyzz in red, they have left to feel the embrace of what you have so eloquently termed the "female species" in order to reinforce that they are winners.

I would like to point out that you are correct that Depauw Men and Women do frequently attend the Library to study. Education is number one, and the point of attending such a fine University as Depauw.  Ask your bosses, bosses, boss, she most likely graduated from Depauw.

Good to see you Danny Boy.  Can't wait to see you in a week.
