In the last two weeks at least 5 teens (at least one a college student) have committed  suicide over bullying about their alleged 'gayness'.  DePauw students have finally (mostly) stopped the slurs (and you'd be hard-pressed to claim Cortaca Jug is a greater rivalry than the Monon Bell).  Maybe YOU should lighten up.

"All in good fun" is pretty weak sauce for hate speech.  Improve your material or admit that you are NOT a comic.

Jokes about ones race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion etc, are usually looked at as jokes with poor taste.  I'm actually not that offended by them, but it makes you more of the joke when you keep using them.  It is easy to find pictures of gay people and post them and put a name under it.  It's just not that funny.  Again, sometimes gay related jokes can be funny and can keep clear of that line.  Here is another example:

I too think equating one with the other is a bit of a stretch. I don't really have a problem with what you've said. I think Ypsi is bringing up something that is wise to remember in that, fair or not, that there are certain topics that people, in general, will be less tolerant towards joking about.

A bit of a stretch?  It's outright insane.  I get that certain topics will be less tolerated by some.  My only defense is that it's the damn Cortaca board. That said, if I've offended anyone, know that it was not my intention.
