Does anyone know if there will be a preview of the women's teams?

Maybe it's floating around the cyber cosmos with the NCAA d-3 women's selection show. ::)

There is a women's preview up now.  It is a preview of the semifinal matches on Friday with photos.

Does anybody know where next year's Final Fours will be (Men and women?)

Jim Matson

San Antonio, TX again.  From all that I've heard, they have done a great job thus far; and so has the co-host, Trinity University.

Agreed that they have run a good tournament the past two years...the parking and snack bar could be improved.  I'm just wondering if the final four host site is bid on or is it just a decision the ncaa makes.  I have attended the past five...two at Orlando, one at Greensboro and the past two at San Antonio.  They have have all been run pretty well, but I'm just surprised that one location would get it for four straight years.  That would be a great advantage to a school like Trinity if they were to make it to the final four every year like the Messiah or Wheaton teams from a few years ago do.

I would just like to see them move it around a bit more.

Haha, yeah.  How about moving it up north a little so the northern teams have a little advantage.  ;)

After the snow storm during the Final Four at St. Lawrence (upstate New York) some years back, the NCAA said never again and it will be in the Southern regions for some time.

PH, which location did you like best?

Jim,

I have enjoyed San Antonio the best.  Orlando just had too much else going on and it seemed like the soccer took a back seat.  Greensboro didn't have much to do outside the soccer tourney.  The soccer complex in San Antonio is about seven miles from downtown San Antonio.  The teams get to stay in a real nice hotel right next to the Alamo and just three blocks from the River Walk.  So in that sense it's real nice.

I realize that they want to hold the championships in a warmer location, but I just don't know about the same location four years in a row.

I'm a little surprised Pomona-Pitzer didn't get any votes for conference champ.  After all, they tied and beat Cal Lutheran during the regular season and only lost to them 1-0 in the NCAA tournament.  Plus, P-P's All-Americans Endo and Deutz both return.  Cal Lu loses Isabella Veljacic, who was the most outstanding offensive player at the NCAA championships and first team all region and Eden Quiroz, who was the most outstanding defensive player at the NCAA Championships.

Trinity(TX), 82-1-0 in conference play the last eight seasons, is the unanimous pick to win the SCAC title in their final SCAC year, as all five Tigers named to one of the all-conference teams last season return.  Texas Lutheran is the pick for second and the two will face off in Seguin September 6th in what could determine the regular season champion - though Southwestern, a close third, will try to repeat the 2-1 upset in 2021 which represents the sole regular-season blemish in those eight seasons.
