Your OAC matchups for the NCAAs:

Capital gets a tough draw against Alma

Ohio Northern makes the tournament and draws Scranton; They have to a be a little bit of a favorite in that one

And in Great Lakes region--

Case opens up with Lebanon Valley.  That should be a good match-up.  Seen them both play and they are both good teams (of course, isn't every body at this time of year!)

Capital ousts Alma 1 to 0

Ohio Northern beats Scranton 1 to 0 in overtime....

On to the second round!

Also,  another Northeastern Ohio team, Case Western, beat Lebanon Valley 3 to 0!

Both Capital and Ohio Northern get beat ending the OAC's presence in the tourney.
Ohio Northern looked like they might have been headed for a deeper run, but started to fade at the end of the season.  Capital was definitely an upstart, but both look to be powers in the coming year.

Good luck to the remaining teams......

Capital was a good team this season. They knew how to score, and really knew how to play a solid defense. They just ran into a Wheaton team that was clicking on every cylinder imaginable.

Making the second round is a great thing for a younger program. And Ohio Northern is rapidly becoming a soccer name on both the men's and women's side.

Thanks Jim,

I agree with your assessment.  I think my Blue Streaks will be competitive for the next two to three years as well.

Also,  Capital did extremely well given they were playing for a new coach.  He has done a wonderful job in his first year.  I could tell they were a well coached team by some of the little things they did during the OAC championship game.

Wheaton has a very good team.  There is no shame in losing to them for sure.

congratulations to capital on a fine season.  we found ourselves extremely impressed with the defense for capital and lauren roy's leadership of that back line and the way that defense plays together is very fun to watch, even if its frustrating your offense  ;) maggie donnellan is as fine a keeper as we've seen this season and did a masterful job keeping that game close as she made several point blank saves to keep capital close or that could have easily been a 5-0 game.  very impressive young core for the crusaders and i would expect to see them make a run in the coming years.

Good luck Coach Marich!  Go Blue Streaks!

I've noticed some teams have their fall schedules out now and some don't.  Is there a date by which most teams post their schedules?

I know that last year it was mid June when folks started posting schedules.  In mid July, my personal hero WLCALUM83 started filling in the blanks.  The latest Vegas line has JCU beating Wheaton in next years semi-final and knocking off Amherst in P-Ks in the final ;) I love D-3 soccer.

Now there's a Cinderella Story!  I love it!
We'll enjoy the summer, but we do look forward to soccer season!

Nearly all of '11s' schedules were in before the last full week of August-- (I figured on going the "composite" route for the most part to cut down on clutter).

Awesome!!! Now I know where I am going to be on September 29th!!!! 8-)
Hope to see more schedules soon!
Allegheny and Case back-to-back...that will be a tough week.  It would be nice to see the Crusaders win those games.

Here's to Title IX,  without which Division 3 women's soccer may never have been!  8-)
