Would have taken another flawless game.
This UMHB team is the best I've seen them have.
Size, speed, pursuit, versatile Qb.

You Redlands boys have a good winter with that season ending loss of yours. We won't.

Now's the time to schedule us.

Agreed. Want to play the best only.

D O.C.

Sack and a fumble.
That's my winter vision.

Tough loss. Good season Linfield.

MonroviaCat

Well that does it---another season in the books.

Go Cats!

Westside

Good season, just ran into a better team.

I'll be back for baseball season. 8-)

agreed---MHB is a lot to handle--especially when they don't have selfinflicted wounds.  Aside from the 2 INTs, the stats were pretty close--but MHB finished their drives and the CATS were stopped each time they got near....
Go Cats!

D O.C.

That's a goodnight Irene.
Fun spending Saturdays with you folks.

Tough loss. Good season Linfield.

This UR team was better than the past 5 years.
LF clearly was not as good as the past, I wish we would have played LF over this MHB team.

Clearly a nice moral victory for LF could considering they were blew out the last time in Belton.
Oh well I am sure the Kats will be back. I would love to see us play the Kats every season.
Less than two more years of Gavin.

MonroviaCat

the worst part of this loss is that it was 17 points---making Pat right---- (he said MHB was 17 points better than the CATS based on the first meeting)----- ;D
Go Cats!

MonroviaCat

Wheaton get's a trip to Texas next weekend (unless they give up 17 points in the next 3:13 of the game)
Go Cats!

Being there for both games gave me a different view of the game then some of the comments l have read. UMHB is the complete package and l felt they were more dominant today then they were in September even through the scoring differential was larger in September. The big advantage they had over us was the speed speed speed of their defense both on D line and unbelievable closing speed in their secondary. Several times it looked like our receivers were open but they closed so quickly. They weren't going to let our passing game beat them. Baylor Mullins and his crew were a handful. On the other side Jackson showed he will hurt you equally with his legs and arm. He threw some great balls to Hosey and give Hosey credit he went up and made some great grabs with a defender right on him. MC l think we saw their team speed first time around but seemed much more pronounced to me this time. It would be hard to pick against them the rest of the way. Cats fought hard but were just overmatched by a darn good team. I hope UMHB gets their first title. MC do you ever remember a Linfield offense being shut with regards to scoring a TD ?

2007 vs the RATS (lost 10-6), 2008 vs Menlo (but we won 9-0) oh and southern oregon shut us out in 2001, but maybe you were asking about the playoffs (?)

Nope l was just wondering but to lazy sitting here in the Austin Airport to look it up and figured you would come through. I was at that Menlo game come to think of it and it was a real snoozer.
