Wilamette busts and 80 yd run on the reverse and goes up 31-9 with 13:20 left in the game

A turnover gives Redlands the ball in Whitworth terrirotry with 7 minutes to go

CLU killed a lot clock and PLU is just trying to make it look close now (less than 2:30 to go and still 28-10)
Go Cats!

just got home and put the CLU game on. The SoLutes were running the ball, but not Mosier. Did he get hurt? Disappear again?

MonroviaCat

Mosier ran for a couple hundred yds...they may have just given him the rest of the day off.
Rogers on the other hand is banged up (a leg injury) and hasn't played much in the 2nd half.
Go Cats!

CLU has Kevin Ramay in at QB now--Guess he's the 2nd String (maybe get to be starter next year)
Go Cats!

Final CLU 28 PLU 17 (wasn't really that close but CLU let PLU stay in it a bit)
Go Cats!

Final--Redlands 30 Rats 20--closer than I was expecting...
Go Cats!

Bearcats winning big, 31 - 9.
Was a very tight game until the 4th Q and then they pulled away...

Totally uncalled for. Like WU's colors are exceptional.

The PLU/CLU is interesting.  It will be interesting to see if the Solutes run the board up to the playoffs....But it sounds like Redlands will be a tough road to cross.  What kind of team does Oxy have this year.

I used to be known for making a 5 AM appearance at certain Chinese internet Cafe's to listen to the Cats.  But those really interesting days are over. Life moves on.  Maybe later though.
Don't forget your booties cause it's cold out there!

Early to say for sure but I don't think Oxy is going to compete with Redlands and CLU;  from what I've seen--CLU has the most talent of the SCIAC teams but they have frequent periods of sloppy play (penalties, turnovers, poor special teams play) that hurts them.  If they don't clean that up n the next 2 weeks Redlands may take the SCIAC.
Go Cats!

Another interesting score is Lewis and Clark beating Pomona 48-39---the intersting part is not that L&C won but that they allowed 39 points to Pomona (Whitworth beat them last week 34-7).  Perhaps L&C's Defense is not as good as they seemed against CMS last weekend.
Go Cats!
