PLU finds the endzone---I hate watchnig our backups give away shutouts to the starting offense of our opponents but what can you do?

UPS has looked better the last two weeks--they scored a bunch vs. Willamette and now played L&C tight---L&C's problem is that they don't really have much defense....a bit surpised that they only scored 31 though.

Report from Whittier's homecoming: CMS takes the first play from scrimmage at its own 30 and dashes 69 yards, only to have the ball poked out and through the endzone for a Whittier touchback. Whittier converts the turnover into a 7-0 lead, and CMS spends the rest of the game playing catch-up, trailing by as much as 17.  With the benefit of TWO onsides kicks (shades of the Redlands game) recovered in the second half, however, and some epic struggles by the Poet O-line (including 2 separate second-half possessions that each included three CMS sacks), Stags eke out a 31-30 win.
