1st and goal at the 2 for the b-kitties and the rats hold 4 times..  but have to kick back to the bearkitties after 3 and out,  bkitties back down to the 16 and stall again .. FG is no good .. Rats take over at the end of 3.

Whitworth dodges multiple bullets on consecutive drives. Still down 21-17 start of the 4th. The run, run, pass offense is in full effect  :'(

b=kitties on the move again inside the red zone.

Well, think that's all she wrote. Don't see Peterson throwing them back into this game. Or the D stopping Willamette from doing whatever they want to.

Bearcats are good, PLU and Willamette should battle for 2nd. Too mistake prone to knock off Linfield if you ask me. Whitworth is going to struggle to stop every other offense they play (maybe even UPS) unfortunately.

Not so fast, my friend.  Don't forget that Willamette still hasn't figured out how to close out a game ...

Bearcats are going to give me heart failure in the first half but pull off a great comeback in the second, shutting the Pirates defense  down and getting the offense moving.  Got to control the turnovers and get the ball in the end zone when we have golden chances.  Could have gotten a couple more TDs to go with 598 total yards.  Give the Pirates credit for a couple of great goal line stands.  Another good win for WU to stay undefeated.  It isn't getting any easier now we're in the NWC.

Doesn't matter when you are playing against a D that is giving up 400 yards a game and can't defend the pass

... maybe, but while the Bearcats are figuring it out, keep the wins coming anyway!
