FOX with a TD---go up 16-6

I was going to take them in the pickem but I just thought, man, after last week L&C would step up and not drop a game to a first year program!

Pacific misses a 31 yard FG with less than a minute in the first half.
Go Cats!

Still plenty of time for them to recover.

Willamette puts togeather a quick drive and is at the Pacific 8 with 12 seconds left.

After driving to the Pacific 8, Willamette shoots themselves in the foot with 2 consecutive penalites and settles for a half ending FG to narrow the margin to 24-10
Go Cats!

D O.C.

This is where I say d3 fans east of the Rockies will check in to see this team that fell from grace to 11th.

Oh....and half the Redlands and Chapman players.

Unbelievable.
QuotePacific gets a 20 yd TD run to extend their lead to 24-7 over Willamette.

I knew I've missed Spencer Payne.

I'm not surprised at all by Pacific beating Willamette.  Given respective scores on the season Pacific seems better than Willamette.  What was unbelievable was last weeks Willamette win.

Pacific has only had one penalty....and no turnovers

In the second quarter Whitworth drove way down the field and PLU intercepted to end the drive and get another score, then Whitworth moved the ball well again but my Lutes came up with a fumble recovery.  With very little time on the the clock we moved down the field but ran out of time before the half.  Still 28-14 at the half.  Whitworth O is doing well but we are keeping the lead by getting turnovers.  The old bend but don't break D.
