Linfield allows 134 yards, their 2nd best performance of the year (133 yards against Whitworth). Cats had five sacks and two picks. Schroeder came in averaging 265 yards a game, he had 53. Shaffer got his rushing yards but it was pretty much all on their own side of the field.

That's about as dominant as a defense can be.

Embarrassing?? George Fox has 130 yards of offense and have gotten past the Linfield 40 one time... The offense has struggled in a monsoon, but now is not the time to overreact.

Absolutely.   Our line has played poorly, one of the worst defenses in the conference stopping us in short yardage situations.  20 snaps where Riddle has to snag before they go to the moon.  False starts, unsportsmanlike penalties on more than one occasion.  Receivers not getting separation in man coverage, Riddle throwing off his back foot with no pressure into covg multiple times.  Missed fgs.

To your point... D is tough, but Wisconsin teams will run against us and if the aforementioned offensive issues continue it won't end well.

I agree with this to a degree though I do think the weather had an impact on some of those issues.....that being said, our offense has not been consistently sharp this season and that needs to get figured out before we see the playoffs..

I was just disagreeing with the term embarrassing being used as a blanket term for the whole team, as the defense dominated. I completely agree with the offense, they have struggled something fierce on the road all season.

Game pretty much went like I thought thought it could... Definitely an emotional letdown after last weeks game while a huge game for GF. Two quick scores gets us coasting... A questionable 15 yard illegal cut block sets back the next drive... From there no real consistency... Learn from it and move on.

Been awhile since I've been at a game with the volume of rain that we saw today!

George Fox is going to be a very good program in a few years. Coach Casey is pretty impressive.
