Congrats to the Leo's for thier first conference championship in 20 years. They have no clue about what is going to happen in two weeks ....so enjoy the moment....

I get there's some sour grapes here, but I can assure you they know exactly what they are about to undertake.

Welcome back Leofan83.  It's been a long 4 years!  Did you remember your password after all this time  ;D
Go Cats!

Nope had to get it reset. But don't get it twisted I've been lurking here.

Good then. MonroviaCat and I remember very well the game in the 90 degree heat in Laverne when you got your tail handed to you.
This LINFIELD team is even better.

I wasn't here for that it was before my tie in to the program.  I went to McMinnville for the game the following year. Very good team that year. It's a great program. Not sure I understand the attitude though. Linfield is the clear favorite and no one is suggesting ULV has much of a chance against them.

My point was only that the folks at ULV do know exactly what they are getting themselves in. They know exactly how good Linfield is.

Don't worry about DOC's attitude--he's often just misunderstood  ::)  And for the record, the game he is talking about was one that us Linfield fan's came away feeling a little disappointed (and dehydrated) about the way the team performed that day.  (LaVerne ended up with 1 win that year but held us to 2 FGs in the 2nd half).  Anyway--I'm just happy for the SCIAC to have a new Champ this year!  Kudos to LaVerne!
Go Cats!

I'm just enjoying the ride as long as it lasts. If they play Linfield, (there's been some talk that may not happen) I'll be up there to watch.

Yeah--there's still an outside shot that Whitworth makes the field and then they would certainly have to rematch the Cats and the Leos would get sent elsewhere....but I'd say Whitworth's chances shrunk yesterday with Wesley (and others) falling into potential pool C spots....
Go Cats!

Agreed, which is fine with me. I'd rather head up to that region and spend some time in Portland as opposed to going to some of they other potential sites.

Yes, please don't get me wrong   ;D  I love green and orange uniforms.

Congrats to the Leo's for thier first conference championship in 20 years. They have no clue about what is going to happen in two weeks ....so enjoy the moment....

I get there's some sour grapes here, but I can assure you they know exactly what they are about to undertake.

No sour grapes at all....just a huge reality check. I will take LF and give you 35. Just a different class of ball LV has never tasted, you will see. Your tacked can't block Hoff and LF o line will dominate your front. They are just miles better than the SCIAC
Less than two more years of Gavin.

To be fair, they are miles better than the rest of the NWC too.

You're acting as if this is something this coaching staff or myself has never seen before.  I can assure you that's not the case.  These guys coached against whitewater on an annual basis. They are more aware than  anyone, yourself included as to what lays ahead.  No one here is predicting a Leo win or even a close game. They're only advantage is they have nothing to lose and than only goes so far when there's this kind of gap in talent and depth.

As far as sour grapes, that's clear and has been for some time.

They are. They're clearly an elite team at this level of play.
