Here's the problem as I see it.  If it is the goal line all you have to do is break the plane but on any other play if you stick the ball out and then pull it back on your own, you lose the yardage.  I think Whitewater got lucky on that one.  Unless the whistle blows while you have the ball stuck out.

No, forward progress is forward progress.

Not when the offensive player intentionally makes a motion.  I think pulling the ball back into your belly could be construed as doing so.  Similar to when a runner goes backwards trying to get around a defender.  He loses his forward progress.  Well......irrelevant at this point.

Never gets called that way. You see guys reach out for the sticks on the sideline in a similar manner as well, and they get the furthest spot. I agree with you on the principle of the thing, the offensive player is intentionally pulling it back. But it's never called that way.

Anyone else having audio issues of it going in and out?

Thanks MCat.  Video is working but audio not.  I think I found the problem (another China firewall block.  Had to switch my virtual location to Japan), and now it appears to be working.

Didn't hear what was said about the 64 yard field goal but sure looked like it when an extra 5-7 yards just right.  Is there a lot of wind?
