Redlands alum and record holder for interceptions, Jeff Thomas, coaches Puget Sound to their first victory against Whitworth since 1995. It took a decade, but Thomas has now seen his efforts to build a winning Loggers culture finally succeed. He is still under 40 years old, so let's hope that UPS can obviate losing him to "headhunters" from D2 teams or wherever. This year UPS has defeated two SCIAC teams, CMS and La Verne, while falling to Redlands.
