Whitworth 31
CMS 15
Final

Best team won.
Officiating was worse than a high school game.
Whitworth did a great kid of applying defensive pressure.
CMS had WAY too many turnovers, but still made Whitworth bring their starters back into the game in the 4th quarter.
A rematch could be interesting.

Forgot to add the CMS "bend-but-don't-break" defense in the 1st half got broke.

Cal Lu looks awful. They are getting absolutely bullied at the line. Just makes you wonder how bad Southwestern is and shows how far PLU has fallen.

But UPS is keeping them in it....it's a game again

And just like that, UPS blows an 18-point lead in the 4th quarter.  CLU 25-21 with under a minute to go.

Also of note---Southwestern beat Belhaven who played HSU pretty close today.

UPS is such a night and day team on the road vs being at home.

Their grass field is brutal and when you add a heavy rain the whole time it's no surprise at team from Thousand Oaks would struggle.

Speaking of bad is Whittier the worst team on the west coast?  L&C hung 66 on the Ports today.

Makes sense.

Any reason UPS has a turf field right next to their grass field?
