Thought the Johnnies had a great shot. Didn't listen to the first half but sounded a big turn was when Johnnies were up 14-7, with the ball in Tommie territory but didn't do anything and then trailed by half by 8. Rushing game was nonexistent today.

Hopefully they can run the table but obviously several tough games to go, starting next week. Cobbers looking good.

UWW loses to Buff St. 7-6

Nope, DIII from out East. NJAC now, E8 I believe.

They've got a couple nice wins now this year. Prior to this they've been a .500 or below team for the better part of a decade.

Sounds like their D played some inspired ball. They also had two missed FG's so they were in this the whole game. Maybe they're a 2012 sleeper, maybe they caught UWW sleeping, maybe a little of both. Hard time imagining UWW has really fallen off this quickly so I'm guessing this is just shades of Bethel in 2006 v. Carleton.

Caruso went long, with the 1st string?  Gags would have had the reserves in when he did this when up by this score.

Gags has had his moments with running up the score as well. Personally, I could care less about it. IMO, it's on the opposing team to stop you. This isn't high school field hockey. But to pretend that SJU has never done something of this nature is just naive.

I watched the game on line and yeah Gustavus looks to be an improved team. It was a good game as the score indicates, with plenty of excitement on both sides. Augsburg is lead this year by a freshman QB so the future looks bright.
