Mathis with a GREAT hit on the QB scramble. He closed the gap incredibly fast and then dropped the hammer. Knight QB definitely thought he had the corner...not so much!

SagatagSam

UWEC and SJU have 7 combined turnovers today.....

WOW! Great 48 yd punt by Wartburg down to the 1. Petersen calls the gutsy quick fade and Peterson to Hilbrands pull it off. 1st and 10 from the 20

Ugly WOW. Bethel gets off a ... wait for it... 4 yd punt  :P

Oh, boy, Johnnies.  Keep your head in the game.

Ok, coaches.  Settle them down.  Get them thinking again.

SagatagSam

Ouch.... that makes two muffed punts for the Johnnies... 1-10 for UWEC.

Johnnies "leading" or Johnnies "bleeding"? Seems like a little of both...

SagatagSam

The difference in this game has been three possessions on the UWEC 1-yard-line and only 3 points to show for it.

Sad to say, but I'm not really surprised by this. I wasn't real impressed with Olaf's HC hire. Then again, the third choice must not have been that impressive to the search committee either  :o

Johnnies playing down to their competition.
