Ankle or knee it sounded like. Reusse said it appeared badly damaged. And our own Willy Wonka thought it looked season ending. It apparently went the wrong direction.

That sucks. One of the brutal things about football are the injuries. Hopefully it's not as bad as it first appeared, and hopefully he can bounce back either way.

one nice thing about modern medicine. Injuries that were career ending 30-40 years ago can be totally repaired now with proper treatment and rehab.

Who is handling the play calling for the Toms now?

Looks like Fenske on the live stats.

Robert Zimmerman

If O'Connell is out with a season-ending leg injury, I bet Tom Linneman would be willing to mentor him and give him advice on how to get back on the field next season and how to avoid your mother while in the basement.

Sing us a song, you're the piano man
Sing us a song tonight
Well, we're all in the mood for a melody
And you've got us feelin' alright.

Bungum is playing in the 2nd half.

Johnnies get the ball to start the second half.
....that's the first time I've heard Essler's name called on the kick return.

And Bungum is back.

Bungums back.  Fasching must have been talking about the other player that was down.  On that fumble.

"This officiating crew has given the ball to Augsburg."

That's one of the things I like about VOJ.  The Auggie player didn't steal it, the crew gave it.

Zylstra fumbles opening Kickoff...Bethel ball deep in Cobber territory.

Marquardt runs for a first down on first down...Brutal game in the Turnover department for Cobbers.
