good season. Work to be done
Tough to lose your MVP

Yeah, really tough to not only lose the team MVP but also the MIAC MVP (same as what happened to Bethel in the playoffs last year when they lost Peterson).

Doesn't feel pressure well

Well, we're all in the mood for a melody
And you've got us feelin' alright.

Can Wartburg claim 2 League titles this year?

Great season-surpassed expectations and have a great base to build on. I would think #1 is finding a QB who can throw the ball. No reason why SJU isn't back in the playoffs next year, with a longer run.

It was a great season, Johnnies.  You were this close to making it on.  A really good year, boys.

Odd too, since he seems to be a pretty good runner.  But it doesn't seem like he feels the pressure, or really takes care of the ball like you'd think a guy with "runner's" instincts would.

Don't want to go negative on Martin at this point, after all, he was the QB into the sweet sixteen, and that should count for something.  Things might have gone better, and a couple plays could have possibly kept the season going.  But it was a great season, exceeding expectations for most.  If Sura was there today, not hard to imagine a Johnnie victory.

It's not even noon and VOJ is taking shots at the Toms for starting their games 10 minutes later than the normal kickoff time. :)
