unreal huh?

Yea, I figured the calls were coming from Jimmy-don't think the Qb calls many plays any more.

That's part of the problem...we used to have players that had enough balls to blow off Jimmy's calls or would just flat out call their own plays

That was evident last year I think - e.g., the play calling against UWEC when we got ahead early and Jimmy decided to try to win a 10-3 game.

Bennie, what's up with Missouri State up 7 - 0 on Oregon?!?

Good question! Apparently they aren't blinded by the UO uniforms. Uncle Phil will have to get us louder uniforms! ;)

I'll say it again, some really nice sportsmanship by both teams today.

Carleton had a play on Aakre at the sideline and the defender did a great job holding up. Nicely done fellas!

21-13 SJU-SJU needs to settle down-get some first downs and keep D off the field-but they did play better to hold CC to field goal.

No worries, I'm sure the feathers will have their usual effect by games end  :D

USTBench

42 to 0 UST. But the Oles just connected on a 38 yarder. So...they got that going for them. Which is nice.

Sounds like Tobin is having a nice day at the office...

I don't know which is worse, the feathers or the tire tracks on the shoulders that they use to have. Looked a little too much like road kill for my tastes! ;)

A guy I played with at Bethel who is from Oregon used to have a Jeep that was Oregon green, spare tire had the O and it had the metal 'whatever you call them' on the sides.

We joked that it was a road legal version of their uniforms. I guess he never had any feathers on it though...

TD Bethel.

27 - 9

3:35 to play in the 4th

Carleton's D has played pretty well today, especially up front. They've got a couple of pretty solid D-lineman

OzJohnnie

Big stop for the cobbers.  Disappointing.
