What the hell?  What's up (or down) with the defense?  Were certainly not used to that sort of finish.

Two games like that in one season and lose 'em both.  Ugh.

Are you referring to UWEC?

tmerton

No clue.  We lost a lot of talent the last two years.  Coaches are the same, so we're just not getting the same talent coming in I guess.  I'll see more the next two weeks

No - reference to the other game like this - ND-Mich.

Auggie Tech is now 3-0, are they actually good?

Why not just tackle the receiver on their 1st play?  I'll give them a 15 yd penalty over 48 yards.

OzJohnnie

The feeling of mortality that Achilles felt as he lay on the ground bleeding... Losing to the Auggies sucks.

Jimmy just saying they should have tackled the receiver.

Not sure. The win today, in Collegeville for homecoming is impressive. But I'm not sure how good SJU is at this point.

And then there's Augsburg's other two wins:

34 - 31 against a Concordia (wisc) team that has managed just 3 points in their other two games.
28 - 20 over a Hamline team that hasn't scored a point in their other two games.

Eh  ??? Neither of those wins is real impressive. Considering what both those teams have managed against other MIAC teams to date. My juries still out on both Augsburg and SJU. Although I will say, you've got to give credit to Augsburg for winning today. This seems like a game they would have found a way to lose in the past. So that's definitely a positive.

VOJ made Jimmy squirm something good during the pre-game show.  The incredulous Really? when Jimmy said we would platoon QBs just like RBs made me chuckle.

Like a mother-in-law that just doesn't like her son's wife, VOJ is dropping Ries/Bruns comments when ever he can. Like right now with the offensive lineman interview.  Chuckling again.

It's to drop the hint that you need to s*** or get off the pot when it comes to picking a man under center and sticking with him.

Sing us a song tonight
Well, we're all in the mood for a melody
And you've got us feelin' alright.
