Sack and fumble.  Tommies recover and run it back to about the J40.  I'm outta here.  Back to sleep.

FYI.  Down to the 10.  We've got a doublemonkeystompout against us in the first half.  Were we have one first down.  It's like we're crown and they are us.

No excuses from Jimmy or Jerry because the sideline microphone is broken???
Awwwww shucks!
Sing us a song, you're the piano man
Sing us a song tonight
Well, we're all in the mood for a melody
And you've got us feelin' alright.

Ok.  Official departure.  Toms up 42-0 with 6:40 to go in the first ****ing half.

This is the worst SJU team I have ever seen/heard.
Evaluations need to be done ASAP.

My personal thought is that this is not a result of anything different done this year.
There have been a number of people asleep at the wheel in the athletic department.

I've got friends that are former players from 2005-2008 that kept telling me that there was a collapse coming. I always blew them off. Perhaps they were on to something.

Are we looking at a TRIPLE monkey stomp?
Toms lead 49-0 with just a few seconds remaining in the half.

Maybe a quadruple...

I thought the official definition of a monkey stomp was a 21-point victory.
I hope to GOD it isn't a quadruple monkey stomp....

Curious - why did they think it was coming? What are they doing wrong in the athletic department?

This team is mediocre. And, let's face it, St. Thomas is a great team. They've got a shot at a very deep run in the playoffs.

I'm not panicking yet. I see a young SJU team on the field taking its lumps. But they'll improve and in two years they'll be OK.

I remember '97 when they went 6-4 and we thought the sky was falling. Two years later they just about beat Mount in the title game.

True-But I don't see anyone on this SJU team that makes me take notice-in '97 SJU had Novack-he was very good, even in '97 and one could see the potential. I really don't see all-american potential from anyone on the field now. But, your are correct, next year is a new year, anything can happen. But don't treat UST as the next coming of UWW, they are not.

Andrew Rose? Looks like a player to me. But, he is small. You're right, though, the D looks small and slow. Could be because they are young or it could be because they are small and slow.

You really don't think UST is good enough to reach the semifinals? I can see that happening real easy. Sure, they're not WW, but they are just a tier below, and I think they could give this year's MU squad a run if they get a few breaks.

It's a veteran team with great line play. That's the difference between us and St. Thomas.

Ok-I just think Bethel is a better team-so we will see.
