Ok-I just think Bethel is a better team-so we will see.

I don't. But the thing about Bethel is they don't beat themselves. St. Thomas does - mainly because of Tracy's penchant for turnovers.

As a Johnnie, I'll be rooting for Bethel big-time. But that's not going to cloud what I see on the field. St. Thomas is more talented.

D O.C.

Mt. Union played human and gets out of ONU homecoming festivities in tact.

Might as well stick it out here for the train wreck.

Bethel went down to St. Olaf? Wow.

My personal thought is that this is not a result of anything different done this year.
There have been a number of people asleep at the wheel in the athletic department.

I've got friends that are former players from 2005-2008 that kept telling me that there was a collapse coming. I always blew them off. Perhaps they were on to something.

Curious - why did they think it was coming? What are they doing wrong in the athletic department?

This team is mediocre. And, let's face it, St. Thomas is a great team. They've got a shot at a very deep run in the playoffs.

I'm not panicking yet. I see a young SJU team on the field taking its lumps. But they'll improve and in two years they'll be OK.

I remember '97 when they went 6-4 and we thought the sky was falling. Two years later they just about beat Mount in the title game.

The accusation is that John is nothing more than a figurehead, Jimmy is stubborn and stupid, Jerry is incompetent, and the athletic department as a whole is too nice to do anything about it.
Sing us a song, you're the piano man
Sing us a song tonight
Well, we're all in the mood for a melody
And you've got us feelin' alright.

It all could be true. But you can't argue with their success over the past 20 years.

Well, I am here-hoping for a positive showing today. Interested to hear how the QB does-maybe the start of a nice run at QB for SJU.

I am here as well! I hope some Johnnie Magic makes an appearance today!
