1. Blown out of proportion - if you actually read the interview, he mainly made the mistake of continuing to respond to a reporter who was pressing him. He needs to learn to shine people on rather than answer their questions.
2 After the t*rd they laid last week, there are clearly folks who are not giving their all and he's gonna kick their asses until they do. There's been a lot of bad coaching there for a number of years and the culture needs to change. I like Kelly; he's not perfect but he's the best they've had since Holtz for sure.

Haugh rhymes with hack. He is the WORST I have ever read. He actually used to write for the South Bend Tribune. Apparently he married well - a daughter of someone at the Trib as I remember. Anyway, I've read tons of local guys who only write on high school who can write a more coherent piece than he can. I used to write the SBT on a regular basis about his crappy stuff.
