Defenses for both teams played much better in the second half, with Bethel getting a late TD to pull away 27-13.
The artist formerly known as Carl Spackler... it's nice to be back!

Adversity doesn't build character; it reveals it.

Agreed. Solid win for Bethel. Concordia's a long road trip and tough but fun place to play. After the tough loss last week to UST I was glad to see they didn't come out flat.

Phenow's having a nice year running the ball.

Alrighty. It's Saturday in Collegeville!

Let's go Johnnies!
Sing us a song, you're the piano man
Sing us a song tonight
Well, we're all in the mood for a melody
And you've got us feelin' alright.

I guess the D forgot the game started at 1:00  >:(

Probably shouldn't be anywhere near my computer this afternoon. That being said, Game is on the radio, salty snacks, thermos of coffee and textbook in hand and a wager with my Ole sister.

Go Johnnies!

I have a bad feeling that the Jay's sieve pass D will show it's face again.

Well, the D has not had contact all week so they need time to adjust.

Is this a reference to John's "No hitting in practice" policy?
