Can't help but feel bad for Hamline. Bunch of my cousins have gone there. For many years had a really solid program. Between '83 and '94 Hamline was 5-7 against the Johnnies. Beat them in that '94 Homecoming game, snapping a long home winning streak. And in '96 Ramler rallied the Johnnies in the final minute. My cousin's husband was the star running back for Hamline then. Since then? Yikes. And the last few years just a total collapse of the program.

And to think they were a successful D-1 (or the equivalent) basketball school at one time.

Well, they were D-I NAIA (actually the NAIA's predecessor) ... but back then the line is pretty blurry.

28-0 BU heading into the half at the dome...a bit of a yawner.

Sad to see the season wrapping up...seems like it was just mid august and camps were starting...

Would be nice to see Bethel or STO get into the playoffs.  Maybe if the UMAC hadn't received an auto bid this year.  Guess the Royals can't complain given the collapse at Northfield.  Too bad for that.

Yeah, I'm sure that is a bitter thought for them, but they were the ones who let up at the end.  Even worse, it wasn't in Northfield, it was at Bethel, for homecoming.... :P

Eww, I forgot that.  SJU had a tough homecoming game as well with a last (.6) second collapse.  Bad year for homecomings.

A weak effort, I know, but I was a late night.  I woke about an hour before game time but couldn't keep the eyes open.

Looks like the J's are in triple monkey stomp out territory.

Good job-ending on a very positive note.

I figured there'd be more people...err... at least some people talking about the UST-CSS football game.
Bench & Co. must have taken the fleet of Gulfstream Jets up to Holman Field and a caravan of limousines over to the game.

...either that or there is another D3 discussion board that people move to for the playoffs that I don't know about.
Sing us a song, you're the piano man
Sing us a song tonight
Well, we're all in the mood for a melody
And you've got us feelin' alright.

They all stayed home because of the weather and are sipping their 20 year old scotch in front of the fire.
