Sing us a song, you're the piano man
Sing us a song tonight
Well, we're all in the mood for a melody
And you've got us feelin' alright.

Every time I hear Mark and Brian say, "Jake Ryan," I can't help thinking Breakfast Club.

The Johnnie defense has got to close on third down. It's killing them.

Defense has no fire.  Loafing to the ball.  Not good at all.

And they don't appear to be able to tackle/wrap up the runner.

John was great at halftime adjustments.  I hope Gary has those same skills.

The Twins are sucking it up against the Blue Jays. Down 6-1, Top of the 4th.

First half impressions.

This team will be another 6-4 team, based on this half.  One of the worries is that staying in house with the coaching change, that nothing would change.  I believe Jerry has been behind the times on defense and has not been able to keep up, and be able to scheme to defeat the spread option.  I am also worried that the offense is too vanilla...again behind the times.  I expected Kurt to show a little more imagination.  The best case for this team to start playing the young guys and build for two years from now.  Esler had some decent runs when given holes, but has also avoided contact several times when he should have stuck his nose in there.  Don't be so loyal to the Seniors, play the best players or the ones that have the most potential.

Need to be more creative on offense and more physical on defense.  Tommies will eat this team alive if they don't

Alright, I'm ready. I've got VOJ on the audio, video streaming to the TV, two beers and a burger in my belly, and no one else at home. All is perfect. Go Johnnies!
