I was perplexed. The kid has 266 yards, hasn't been tackled behind the line of scrimmage all game, guaranteed 3-5 yards a pop, hasn't turned the ball over, UWEC's QB is 4-17 with 3 ints, UWEC is on the 15 yard line to win the game, and they give it to someone else???  I thought it was questionable play calling the entire game.  SJU couldn't stop the run, but UWEC wanted to pass the ball the entire game. I'm no rocket scientist, but you give it to your All-American running back when the game's on the line.

Agreed.  I wondered if perhaps they wanted to give Sweeney a break.  But they did have two timeouts left with about a minute twenty seconds left to play.  I know you hate to use your timeouts, but if Sweeney indicated he needed a break, you are on the 15 yard line and have been unstoppable.  A TD here does not give your opponent much time to get on the board. 
EC does not have a passing game.  For those who would point to the rain, the Johnnies did a great job passing in the conditions.  EC has Sweeney.  Period.
