Wow what an interview with Coach C at the half; SJU did nothing right, it was all the result of UST mistakes.  Thanks for letting SJU play on your field!

Yeah, that was something...

Relatively sloppy for both sides overall.  This one might come down to who can clean things up in the second half.

Not trying to stir the pot with this thought.

But 5-6 years ago, if SJU had been down 14-11 at the half to UST, I think they come out in the 2nd half thinking "No problem, we got this...we are playing the Tommies, we own the Tommies!"

I wonder if that isn't reversed now. Great 1st half by SJU, but I wonder if UST doesn't have what used to be 'Johnnie swagger' in their favor in the 2nd half.

Guess we'll have to see...Fun to see a tight game though!

No, I don't think so.  I think that the Tommies fear they don't really belong at the top.

You know, thinking about the CC halftime interview... I wonder if he goes in with the same message to the players at half time.  What do the guys on the field think when they are dropping the ball because the Johnnies are playing hard and well, not because the Tommies are making mistakes one after the other.  This will be an interesting second half.

Every so often something comes on the Bear that makes me miss St Cloud.  Motley Crue Looks that Kill as transition music in from the ad break is on of those things.
That's one of the reasons I love hockey! You can hear Metallica, Guns and Roses, Motley Crue, etc during just about any game. Hockey hair and metal go hand and hand! ;)

5-6 years ago, the Toms were far worse than the Johnnies have ever been. Toms finished with a 2-8 record in 2007.

But, I do get your overall point, and I think you're right.
Sing us a song, you're the piano man
Sing us a song tonight
Well, we're all in the mood for a melody
And you've got us feelin' alright.

Nice picture on video-but what is it? Not walnut and bronze-then it doesn't matter

So after a bunch of passing in the 1st half, it looks like Bethel is going on the ground in the 2nd half.
Better a Has-been than a Never-was. Better a Never-was than a Never-tried-to-be.

Maybe SJU is still thinking that-2nd half ust will screw it up!

Definitely possible

And the one thing you don't want to do is just assume you'll pull away.

No reason for SJU not to have tons of confidence right now. All the pressure is certainly on UST

I missed the start...how'd we get down there. Big run or just a sustained drive?
