Watching/Listening to this makes me chuckle. Several Wabash fans were surmising earlier this week how Bethel, GAC, CM and Augsburg would matchup in the NCAC this year. Essentially, the MIAC schools could probably keep it competitive with the middle of the NCAC teams.

Yeah, about that. I'm gonna go ahead and say Wabash looks like they'd have been right in the thick of those schools. They're getting kicked by UST, and UST's top 2 RB's are both playing hurt. Then again, I'm a little biased  :)

I suggested that had Simmet had a quicker first step in HS he'd be playing in the B1G or SEC, and to bashbacker16 I might as well have compared Jesus to Hitler. Then the Star Tribune reported he was recruited by Minnesota and Wisconsin. Felt somewhat validated.

Yeah, the problem for Wabash is they spend the entire year playing teams of Hamline quality and one team that's probably equivalent to the Cobbers. Well that one game isn't going to prepare you for elite games. So yeah, they've got ridiculous stats on O and D, but it's come against some really weak sauce competition.

And then all the talk about Thomas More having a similar Oline, UST D not being as good as their O, etc. etc.

Wonder what they think about the UST D, their front 7 and the Oline right about now??  :)

I heard Linfield's QB might not be playing...is that part of the issue??

BashDad

Calm down. The only thing we really learned is that our special teams suck and our offense isn't good enough. Your O-line wasn't the problem.

HSC, Witt, Depauw, Albion, and Thomas More are all quality teams that Wabash beat this year (and all but one of them ranked when we beat them). You destroyed a very good team today.

Tom Thumb

Wabash players getting chippy.

Wabash has 8 unsportsmanlike penalties in the past 5 games.

Now 21-14 UMHB.  Second stringer for Linfield.  He's good.  Starter must be AA.

Well that was pretty ugly. At least the video is clear and the game is entertaining at Linfield- MHBU

Tommies looking good both ways in the first drives. This will be really the first time I get to pay close attention to them this year, I'm excited to see what they have.

hazzben

Wow. That's barely even any resistance on those TD drives  :o
