Small thing (maybe) but the Johnnies have not gotten very good spots. The 1st down play after the punt looked like it was over the 30. They spotted it at the 29, 1 yard short, which led to the 2 incompletions.

Yes, the defense only gave up 6 first downs, but the penalties on offense really messed with their rhythm.

I had not seen the Johnnies O shut down like that. I think it was part execution, but I'm not sure the game plan was the best either. A few dropped passes hurt as well. However, the score was closer than the play indicated.
