Has 76 for UST been playing left guard all season? He had an awful game today. I don't understand the strategy to have him pull - he runs straight up and down, and can't get his pads on a block.  Although he did run into a safety on one TD run in the 3rd.

The way the offense played today, will be lucky if they score next weekend.

Can't say I agree with that. They did have almost 500 yards against a top defense. 29 first downs and 97 offensive plays is pretty good. Yes, they have to clean up ball security but I don't think it is fair to say that the offense played poorly today.

Is Berry the top defense mentioned here?

Caruso's offense doesn't have a 2nd gear - just 1st or 4th+.  In these championship caliber games you have to take what the defense gives you - can't be running big hit sweeps or throws over the middle.  But again, Caruso doesn't have that strategy in his playbook - at least not that I've seen over the years.
