Nice Stompout.

Freshmen Luke Glenna and Tommy Fuller have looked pretty good.

Who do the Toms play next? Central school Kindergarten?

No. Bye week next week and then Hamline.
Central school Kindergarten wasn't available next week since they scheduled Mayville State.

Hadn't noticed Fuller. Is he the U of M transfer at Safety? I don't pay enough attention to safeties.

Mr.MIAC

Some people like to constantly critique Caruso for his "classless" behavior. I should point out that with seven minutes left in the game he's playing mostly freshmen, including our fourth string QB, and had our offense take a knee in the red zone.

Yeah, he played a lot with the 2nd string guys. Broke up a few passes and made a few nice tackles.

SUMMIT!!!!!

I totally hate when he shows sportsmanship like that.
After the game, the king and pawn go into the same box.

Almost a first half monkey stomp at Augsburg.

Kick hits upright...Cobber's lead 34-0 w 4 and change to play first half. Probably trying to avoid running time in the second half. Oh wait college games don't have that...maybe Augsburg won't come out for second half.

Roll Cobbs! 41-0 at the half. Plenty of subs in...and yes it is hot out.

I left at halftime. On my way to the Gopher game and I had enough of that heat and humility.

Not sure that Concordia is great but more likely Augsburg is bad this year.  The Cobbers are a very nice team but I don't see them winning the MIAC.  I put them at 3rd though.  A nice team the Cobbers. Wrestling and Hockey season will see our redemption however.

I saw a good looking Cobber team today but agree the need to get a couple more pieces in place to overtake UST and I don't see that happening. Cobbers and Johnnies are always an interesting matchup. Hard for the cobber offense to get uncorked when the opponent defense is fast, as was the case against Whitewater last week.

The sun was searing today but ok in shade. Shade cannot he found at Nelson field.

Sorry...small phone and big fingers have messed up the display of this post

Tommies 14-0 4 mins in. Opening drive with a couple long Parks runs for a Finn TD. Then pick 6 by Gerrety on the first Hamline play.
