Ok-so worst defensive showing all year and only down 7-the D will pick this up-maybe 2 ints second half. Pat will be right, they score 35, but sju will score 4 times 49-35

I've always thought the fake spike should be penalized. The spike rule is there to help the offense. Should be a 5 yard penalty or 5 second runoff

It's not that dramatic.  We're playing much like we have all year, since we started with Stout.  The Johnnies appear to be looking ahead to a rematch with UHMB.  They believe they are saving their A game.  It's a mental thing.  A real let down.

Maybe, but maybe AU is really that good, it sure appears that way so far. Just because they didn't play against any good teams, people dismiss their record. Nobody knows for sure just how good they are until they play someone good. Right now, AU appears to be more athletic than SJU but there is a whole 2nd half to play. SJU needs to figure something out on D otherwise it's going to be a long day.

And why should it be a penalty? Yeah, and faking a spike and throwing a td is also helping the offense. So should the flea flicker or a reverse be penalties? They are just plays designed to deceive the defense, don't see any reason they should be penalties.

No doubt AU is good and are playing their best ball. And it's also no doubt true that the Johnnies are playing far from their best, unless BU is little better than Hamline to the rest of D3, which we know isn't true.

The Spartans are up to play.  The Johnnies are not, instead heads filled with dreams of NFL contracts and championship trophies.  Dreaming instead of playing.
