Wow. Maybe I can cancel my plans next week and head up to Collegeville
Whitewater will host,  unless there's something I'm missing?

The Whisperer in the UNN thinks the Jays will host.

That's what I was thinking, but everyone was indicating UW-W would travel. I don't remember what the final regional rankings were.

Final RR's had UWW at 2 and SJU at 4.

Whitewater was #2, SJU #4

Announcers said the winner of USJ/Wheaton would host. Both were conference champ automatic qualifiers, right?

Did anyone think this would go down to the last 9 seconds?

I think some of us thought it was a possibility, but that was a very strange way for it to end.
Sing us a song, you're the piano man
Sing us a song tonight
Well, we're all in the mood for a melody
And you've got us feelin' alright.

How you qualified has nothing to do with who hosts.

Correct. It'll be in whitewater

First, Refs did miss a few holding penalties. The "Roughing the Kicker" penalty WAS BS. I was watching it, not the ball. The rusher was turning away, the punter's leg hit his shoulder as it was coming down causing him to fall. No forward momentum by the rusher. It wasn't a penalty, but should have been running into for 5 yards if called. BDB, sat right in front of Sontag's dad at the game. He went in for Inman. There was a lot of discussion regarding the 12 man penalty as a dead ball foul as well. Gary went out to discuss with Referee to no avail. Luckily, both those bad calls did not hurt much.

Ironic ending was more Johnnie magic. Were the Final Regional Rankings published? I thought there was a final ranking that was "Secret."

Great dramatic game. First Playoff victory I've attended. Will go next week if in Whitewater. Which baffles me. A 1 loss Pool C team gets 3 home games, and a 1 loss Pool A team gets one? That ain't right IMO.

SJU was a inference champion while UWW was at large. IMO - SJU should host.

Well, your opinion also has no bearing on the matter. (shrug)

Hey, all.  It's almost 7am, just a couple degrees short of 60 and the sun has risen.  Let's go, Johnnies!
