Cobbers getting nickled, dimed and quartered by well executed short passing again. Syverson is closing in on 60 attempts with plenty of time to go. Will he surpass the 77 attempts Carleton put up in the Cobber D last week? Ouch...

Cob passing defense was putrid. Johnnies often ran the same short routes 3 or 4 times in a row, often simple crossing routes, for great success and made it look easy. You'd think they'd park a defender in the middle of that pattern to light up the crossing receiver but no, they just let it happen over and over.

Kudos the Johnny QB. The guy had really good touch and timing today.
