I have to say that this Cortaca board is boring.  Where are the Men in Flamboyant Hats? Where are the ex-IC football players? This board was always hopping for a few years. I understand life goes on and as you get older Cortaca probably becomes a little less important. I have barely been able to follow the Dragons this year, and am checking this board once a day as opposed to the 10 times as a college student but I miss the tired, recycled jokes from the IC guys.

I would like to welcome who I assume is Dragon parent and from what I hear, the world's greatest Speech teacher, Mr. Pitcher.  Nice to have you on the board.

Don't think we know each other but, given your email address, I'll go out on a limb here and say, say hello to your wife from me.

I am not sure, we may have met once a long time ago.  I will say hello to her, she is headed down to NYC to watch the game with some friends.  I am on my way up to Cortland to watch the game in person.

Car is packed and I am headed up to Central New York.  Looking forward to a big Cortland win to make it 3 in a row and move to 6-4 since my first game as a freshman.

I will be tailgaiting Saturday morning if anyone wants to introduce themselves.  Over the years I have enjoyed meeting both Dragon and Bomber fans as well as some Bomber players.  Being taunted by and then sharing a beverage and some food with the IC guys is always fun.

CORTACA!  It's 6:45 AM.  I think the bars open in 15 min.

Had to bring something back for us "old-timers" here on D3.

Neuman playing. Bombers up 3-0. Cstate19 in his seat.

Halfback dive up the middle. 60 some odd to the house. 10-0 Bombers. Might've time for the Dragons to wake up.

sjfcards,
I'm getting the video and the live stats without any problems.

magicman

Cortland scores on a 9 yard TD pass from Chris Rose to Mike Humphrey, the extra point is good and the Red Dragons take the lead for the 1st time today, 13-10.

magicman

4th and goal for the Bombers from the 1 yard line, Cortland leads 16-10 with 30 seconds left in the game. Red Dragons stuff the run and hold on to claim the Cortaca Jug. The fans were treated to a pretty darn good football game with a down to the wire finish. What more could one ask for?

pg04

The video was impossible to watch for me (it buffered more than it did anything else), but the live stats was exciting...  ::)

Place this win -- once again -- on the shoulders of the RDragons' defense!!!  Placekicker wasn't bad either .............
