Is there an HD feed from Northfield? I was able to stream a Carleton FB game via Chromecast to the big screen earlier this fall and it was easily the best quality video I've seen in the MIAC.  But if the Johnnies allow 26 shots as they did  in the earlier tie, it might not be all that pretty.

Excuses, excuses...I can't believe that an offense that was head and shoulders better than the Carleton backline falls to pieces when one player is gone  :-*

Guess things don't look so good next year when they all leave...

jimmy92

Nope. Tough times ahead for the Oles.

Predictions for tomorrows final?

In terms of the HD feed, I'm sure Carleton will broadcast it in HD. Last year for the playoffs they had two cameras going too. One field level, one at the top of the hill.

Gotta agree with you GG 2-0 Carls.

KnightRider23

Why? Is the lethal Olaf attack going to be playing again?

As for teams that are actually playing...

Carleton 2
St. JOhn's 1

Unless he is hiding donuts in his pockets I am guessing you will see his hands.  Whether or not his hands will be used to make saves is another question.  :P

Carleton win 2-1 to grab the AQ. Great game for the Knights. Also, great video coverage by the Carleton Sports information department.

Congrats to Carleton on the AQ and best luck to the Knights and, I assume, GAC in the NCAAs. Hope both go far.

I thought when Coborn could not convert with 3 minutes left  in the first that it would be a long day for SJU, but they hung in there and very easily could have pulled level late with the header cleared off the line. Overall, Knights were better tactical and technically, but not the gap I expected. SJU only started two senior field players, which should help cover the loss of Coborn as they aim for their third straight MIAC playoffs.

Wonderful webcast and decent audio, especially when compared to the Utica-Stevens cast that is going on right now. Stevens' commentary is brutal ... don't need to hear about the play-by-play announcer's youth team number switch. And the physicality would probably have certain posters here wetting their pants.

Congrats to carleton on a nice MIAC Playoff championship! Hopefully GAC can snag one of the Pool C bids. Seems like there were a lot of #1 seeds didn't win the AQ's.

What time is the official bid announcement?

KnightRider23

The broadcast is at 12 pm CST. Here's the link: http://www.ncaa.com/liveschedule/2013/11/11

Carleton gets the AQ. GAC should almost certainly be one of the Pool C bids. Could Olaf be a bubble team? Not too many upsets on Saturday/Sunday, but maybe just enough to where they just miss out on a place. And if CAR/GAC advance from the first round, hopefully it wouldn't be like last year where they would have played each other...

Unfortunately I don't think St Olaf will make it in.  Ironically I believe Luther will be the team that keeps them out.

I agree with you Kickin....Pretty sure Luther is gonna sneak in also, probably one of the reasons Olaf will be left out.

Thunder1

I think Luther is in as well. Strength of sched and record against ranked teams. Check out the d3soccer.com analysis here:
