Interesting that the group (collectively) thinks UWO is more deserving than St. Thomas. I know that's been a heated debate on some other boards.

Someone left Linfield off their ballot? Really?

Yea, it looks that way. Not sure if it was done intentionally or not.

Push when you look at common opponents (which means nothing I realize). I just think UWO really needs to work to schedule some regional D3 competition. Could've been a different story if they had.

I realize that Marian and RM - Chicago are decent NAIA teams and SDSU is a perennial FCS playoff team, I just don't think it adds to what your ultimate goal should be. Same with Concordia scheduling the University of Jamestown, a win over SJU with a win over another non-conference D3 school and it could be the Cobbers and not UST in the playoffs.

Much easier said than done. It's tough to get schools around DIII (let alone regionally) to return phone calls from top tier WIAC teams, when it comes to scheduling. So teams like UWW and UWO have to do whatever it takes to fill out its schedule. Hence the non-DIII teams each season.

Props to NCC and Franklin for setting something up with UWP, UWSP and UWW.

And NCC has now turned in their uniforms.  Unless you are a lock to win your AQ (like Franklin is in the HCAC), the selection committee makes it too dangerous to schedule tough OOC games, which is why many top teams are reduced to non-d3 competition.

I think someone had already 'moved' Linfield to the South/UMHB Region  ;)

*Slowly raises hand with a red face.  Absolutely 100% unintentional and makes me realize why I was having to dig for the 10th team.  I would put Linfield in 4th and move everyone down a slot and bump Concordia out.  My mistake!

Hopefully that is not what the RAC did. "Hey, where is Osh Kosh? Sorry, my bad".

I'm going to agree with the d3football pre season poll and put LINFIELD 4th in nation.
Of course, there's Chapman and Mary to get by.

Let's try and get a final poll out now that the season is over. I have received a few entrees so far, but still waiting on a few more. Thanks
