FB: Region 6 fan poll

I moved UWP up from 7th to 6th this week (basically flip flopping spots with UWO). But I couldn't bring myself to rank them ahead of St. Thomas in my 5th spot.

That could change this weekend though.

While I completely understand why, I find it fascinating that UWP does not even get a single additional vote after beating a top 15 NCC team while in the North Region Fan Poll, NCC dropped 2 place and completely off at least one voter's ballot completely after losing on the road in OT to a top 25 team.

I think they picked up a few votes...46 points last week, 51 this week?  Or am I missing something?  I see that they're still in 6th overall but it looks like a few 6's became 5's and 7's became 6's on the UWP line...

My bad. Looks like I picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue.....

They really shouldn't have beaten NCC so I'm not going to move them up above the top 5 until I see some other data points such as say Wartburg losing or St Johns/St Thomas getting blown out or losing bad.

I have UWP at 5 due to the win against NCC.  St. Thomas has destroyed their 2 opponents but those 2 are a combined 1-5 with all 5 losses being absolute butt-whippings.  We will see how this week works itself out.

Is this a mistake and/or typo?

Pacific has a home loss to a Dubuque team that was 4-6 last year and was blown out by both St. John's and UWP to start this season.  I guess you could take a flyer on Pacific at #10, but a vote at #6?  Even if you've got UWP at 4 and SJU at 5, how can you (whoever you are that has Pacific at #6) justify putting Pacific at 6 with that Dubuque loss on their resume?  Wouldn't you then be arguing that Dubuque should also be ranked?
