Looks like they treated UWO and Pacific as one-loss teams.  None of us had Pacific ranked.  They have two tough games as they finish out.

If the bearkitties are still high after their upset , watch out dogs... The cats will get the dogs .. YOU can  Take that to the bank  chew chew ;)

Not sure if this helps or hurts.  Pacific won last year (at home), and I'd guess it would have been a tossup this year (at Chicago).

Chicago definitely could have used that W for their playoff resume.

Pacific will earn their spot (or lose it) in the next two weeks, but I don't think it's egregious to have them at the bottom of the West RR's right now (although the loss to Dubuque isn't exactly a quality loss).  They did beat Pac Lutheran.
I was small but made up for it by being slow...

I was assuming Chicago would have won that game. So yea, that would have been a nice quality win for Chicago....but a devastating third loss for Pacific.

He played for Wabash and won 4 Conference Championship rings while there with 3 years in the National playoffs...

Does he really have 4 rings, or are you just using that as a term?

d-train...I answered this the next day but it seems the post never went through...

Yes 4 actual rings....the Conference Championships were ...05,06,07,08...Coach Chris Creighton the first three years...then Creighton left and went to Drake D1AA...where he won two Con Championships there...then Creighton went to D1 Eastern Michigan this year.
The 4th ring at Wabash was with Coach Raeburn...he is the nephew of Mt Union Larry Keyres...

There were 20 seniors that 08 year and one of the parents bought 20 walnut trophy boxes for those twenty seniors...the box was designed to display exactly 4 rings....needless to say....Way-Kewl

Interesting.  We only got rings for national titles at PLU.  While it would be a bigger celebration today I'm sure (knocking off Linfield), winning the conference title wasn't a huge thing.

DadofBashWarrior..

My son has great respect for Frosty and the type of program he ran...in fact part of the program they run at Greenville has Frosty's fingerprints ...when did you play?
