This would carry a little more weight if Pacific Lutheran wasn't already 0-3.  And it's not like Pac Lu lost to Whitewater and Mount Union...they lost to a pair of good-but-not-great teams.

I understand the "it's not who you lost to, but who you beat" train of thinking from a broad perspective, but there has to be some penalty for losing to a mediocre team, right?  Pacific's other results are uninspiring.  If you're relying on a home win against an 0-3 team to justify ranking them ahead of Platteville, Oshkosh, and SJU...wait, ahead of Platteville and SJU?

St. John's 45, Dubuque 9
UW-Platteville 31, Dubuque 7
Dubuque 31, Pacific 29

I know comparative scores are a dangerous game, but this is just silly, to rank Pacific ahead of not one but two teams that both blew out the team who beat Pacific.  If all of the games were close, maybe-sorta.  But Dubuque was thoroughly blasted by both Platteville and St. John's, then beat Pacific.  If it's "who you beat" and not "who you lost to" why isn't Dubuque up here, then?  After all, Dubuque felled Pacific.
I was small but made up for it by being slow...

meh. While I totally agree, it's not worth your time. His opinion is his opinion - no matter how faulty the logic or how much/little thought he put into it. That's why there are 8 or 9 other voters. Outliers don't skew the overall results.

I am very curious to know how things shake out here with the results of the games this past week.
