art76...assuming you are not working, after your trip around campus, the tailgaters are past the scoreboard end of the field past the baseball field and soccer field. The Blue Jug parks itself along Lever St. near a Port A Potty.  I look for a big bus.

Linfield will beat Whitworth by at least 14 30 points.  It could even will end up a double monkey stomp or worse.
Corrected for you

That game confirmed my suspicion about Whitworth.

I didn't know what to expect of either team as I watched today in the Cat Dome. On a purely subjective "seat of the pants" viewing, I'd say this year's Bethel squad could beat the Whitworth team - it would be close, like the Concordia game BU lost earlier this season. Linfield is really good. Their backup QB could start in a lot of other places. As a slinger, he had better form and distance/range down field than their starter. Their defense is especially quick to the ball. Not having seen the Tommies play yet this season, I'd guess they would be comparable in terms of relative strength.

The atmosphere was really good in the stadium. My only complaint is that the reserved seating benches were not designed for 6'1'' tall people - more like 5' 1" folk. My knees were pressed into the back of the bench in front of me. Fortunately for me, the folks with season tickets who normally sit on either side of me did not show up for the game. I was about a third of the way up on the 47 and had a great view, and the folks around me all knew one another.

Yeah but I think Linfield would do that to many/most teams you might consider for those 8-10 slots.
