I'm not quite  sure why you said that. If I made my choice based on school colors and nicknames  I surely would have chosen the Wesleyan Cardinals. I just felt that the Bantams were the better team and are looking more and more like they just may host the NESCAC tournament.

Of interest to me is the fact that one of the top teams in the NESCAC, Trinity, lost to a Cortland team that is in a 3 way tie for 4th place in the SUNYAC and the 1st place team in the SUNYAC, my Plattsburgh State Cardinals, lost to a middle of the pack NESCAC team, Middlebury.

For bonus 2: USM scored 64, Plymouth gave up 79 (47 in the second half!) on Tuesday.  As long as Plymouth doesn't give up 15 more points  then USM scores Saturday, they'll get the bonus.

In today's action Western Connecticut beat Plymouth State by a 92-81 final score. So for the week Plymouth State gave up 171 points (79 +92)

Southern Maine lost to Mass-Dartmouth 95-68. So for the week they scored 132 points (64 +68)
