The Trinity vs Wesleyan should be an in state battle!  Prefer the home team holds serve and both teams wear each other out....selfish reasons. .Amherst meets the Cardinals on Sat Afternoon in the game that counts.  Jeffs will play them in the Little Three game later...make up for a postponed game.
Magicman must have made his choice based on school colors and all :)

amh63,
I'm not quite  sure why you said that. ??? If I made my choice based on school colors and nicknames  I surely would have chosen the Wesleyan Cardinals. I just felt that the Bantams were the better team and are looking more and more like they just may host the NESCAC tournament.

Of interest to me is the fact that one of the top teams in the NESCAC, Trinity, lost to a Cortland team that is in a 3 way tie for 4th place in the SUNYAC and the 1st place team in the SUNYAC, my Plattsburgh State Cardinals, lost to a middle of the pack NESCAC team, Middlebury.

Sunday, February 8:
#23 New York University @ #12 Emory 12
#7 Wash U @ Case Western Reserve 12

LEC games (worth 5 points):

Saturday, February 5:
UMass-Boston @ #22 Eastern Connecticut 3 PM (Warriors probably didn't show up against Plymouth so they should be ready to go and beat a bad team at home this time)
Western Connecticut @ Plymouth State 3 PM (Plymouth has proven tougher in recent weeks, and although Western has a long ride there, they should win.  Plymouth led by 19 late in the first half of a recent home game against Bowdoin before being drubbed in the second half...Western will look to respond after a 91-71 loss at Westfield State)
Southern Maine @ UMass-Dartmouth 3 PM (The Corsairs have had an interesting season to date, posting a good LEC record but a thoroughly mediocre overall record.  Southern Maine has just been horrible for most of the season and I'd be stunned if this game is close)
Rhode Island College @ Keene State 3 PM (Keene has not beaten RIC in ages...whether the game is close or not...and I refuse to pick them until they do.  They shot a dreadful 33% in a recent game at Middlebury while giving up 96 points...which would have been good enough to beat nobody)

For bonus 2: USM scored 64, Plymouth gave up 79 (47 in the second half!) on Tuesday.  As long as Plymouth doesn't give up 15 more points  then USM scores Saturday, they'll get the bonus.

In today's action Western Connecticut beat Plymouth State by a 92-81 final score. So for the week Plymouth State gave up 171 points (79 +92)

Southern Maine lost to Mass-Dartmouth 95-68. So for the week they scored 132 points (64 +68)

All those that chose Plymouth State get to stand up and cheer. :D  3 did 1 didn't

All those that chose St Mary's in the other bonus get to stand up and cheer.  :D  3 did 1 didn't.
