2 barnburners today as Brandeis defeats UMass-Dartmouth 66-65

Even more of a house on fire, TCNJ defeats Western Connecticut 83-82 in OT.

We pickers are getting our pockets picked,  by a picker, who picks pickers, not teams.

amh63 is currently in 1st place not by picking the winners of the games but by picking another players picks. Last week he climbed onto my back (or could have rode just about anybody's back) to a 5-1 week and a tie for 1st. This week he hopped aboard the WPI89 Express with 1 minor schedule change while the train was leaving the station. WPI89 except I'm taking TCNJ says he, not Western Connecticut, out of loyalty to Amherst because their new coach is an Amherst alum. He's now 9-2, while a bunch us arrived at 8-3 a number of different ways. He's picked a grand total of 1 game and he's in first place.

He's the Tom Sawyer of the Pick 'Ems. We do all the work and he gets the results.  Next he'll be asking us if we want to whitewash his fence because it's such great fun.

I did say I chose loyalty over brains.....and my parents did not raise a dummy.
I had my fingers crossed a bit after I looked over TCNJ's roster....relative young and small in stature.
However, the new HC has been a winner since he played on the Championship '07 Amherst team and was an assistant coach on the Champion '13 Amherst team.  I have missed his knowledgeable father's posts....Hoya73.  He will have his team heading for the top of the polls soon when he has a full recruiting season...taps in on Coach Hixon's network
Now, am I covered for the rest of the week WPI89?  If not, I have to play the "ponies" again.

Looking forward to seeing how your "Amherst Recruit" does this year..appears to have bulked up a bit.
Racy still listed as a guard at 6'5"...maybe expected to go get RBs.  His younger bigger brother is heading to Tuft's next season..after a prep year.....to be a forward at 6'6".
