Unless I missed it, was there no standings update after last weeks games?

These are coming Grizz.  We've had a weird week: have a short week (normally play Tuesday & Friday this week play Tuesday Thursday) and because the kids have midterms this week, and had Monday off (and also Friday) we had an earlier practice time Monday then right afterwards had to go scout, plus combined with a busy time at work haven't had much free time, sorry!  We have Friday & Saturday off this week.  I have to go across state to see the other team I do scouting for, so if I don't get last week's standings up by Friday they'll definitely be up by Saturday.  Lot of work in coaching, even moreso then I thought  :o

Perfect 2-2 for me. Good for WPI if Eastern keeps winning. And good win for "CAIN STATE".

I guess our competing strategies cancelled each other out.  2-2 thanks to Keene's OT victory even without their 7 foot center who was out with an injured shoulder.

AllStar

Surprised Keene won missing three starters.

Plymouth is falling apart more likely.  I didn't think they would hold up once conference play started they got fat (bloated record) eating cupcakes.  Pretty much the 2 best teams they've played OOC (Tufts and Green Mountain) they lost both.  I wouldn't be all that surprised to see RIC beat them on Saturday.

Their non conference schedule certainly wasn't very good, that's for sure.

Actually watched the Western vs ECSU game...tied at the half and close to the end.  Turned to watch the Keene game.  The conference is a puzzle indeed.   Watched the MIT vs Babson game.  The Newmac is having surprising close games too.  Conference games and rivalry games are getting hard to pick elsewhere....like the CAC.
Hope the weather is ok for games.  Expecting a big one in the DC area..20 inches!

My take on the LEC

Eastern Connecticut is the class of the league. Unless they lose any of their top four players (Brown, Lindo, Preston, Leumine) they should be able to take the regular season  title and the tournament.  They may even be able to survive losing just one of those.

The rest of the conference is a pick 'em.  On any given night anyone can win or lose.  Home court is probably the only difference maker.

Good Morning Mr. 7express,

Your mission, should you decide to accept it, is to correct Allstar's score. You have given him 2 bonus points for the week when I clearly see that he has accurately picked all 3 bonus propositions from last week. As proof I offer up this post from Wednesday, January 13th:

Quote from: AllStar on January 13, 2016, 02:09:53 PM
Wednesday:
Plymouth State
Eastern Connecticut
Western Connecticut
Rhode Island College

Bonus #1:  More teams with 3 conference losses
Bonus #2:  Rhode Island College
Bonus #3:  Saturday (Chiefs at Patriots, Packers at Cardinals)

Perhaps he made a change on one of those bonus picks that I'm unaware of, but if not, then as much as I would like to be ahead of him, now, and at the end of the contest, I would like it to be because I out picked him. I believe he is tied with me.

Also amh63 correctly picked bonus #1. Again, I offer proof of his selection, which I admit is probably hard to spot, buried in the middle of his post:

Quote from: amh63 on January 13, 2016, 02:50:27 PM
Cannot be left holding the door.  In the bonus section dealing with college BB games....have what everyone is having...more teams with three conference losses.  On the Bonus no.2....going with "the man"...7express.....pick UMass Boston.  Really a toss-up for me.
Really a surprise that several posters pick the Chiefs!  Must be "out of towners!" ;D

The bolded selection is my doing not his. He made an incorrect choice on bonus #2 and never did pick bonus #3. Still he deserves the 1 extra point.

Everything else checks out OK. Obviously some percentages will change.  AllStar will have the same record as me, 67-30 for 69.1% and amh63 will be 65-31 for 67.7%

As usual this message would self destruct in 60 seconds, but knowing your crazy schedule I've decided to forego that feature so you will indeed, get this message, and make the corrections. ;D

There you go...His life is filled with all this intrigue...now that he has to do all this scouting around. 007Express makes perfect sense. :D

K'd you back.

7express

Thanks Magic.  I thought I was the only one that had picked the "more conference teams with 3 losses than 3 wins bonus" correctly, that's why I skipped over that.

You still haven't given amh63 credit for his bonus...did you read my post about the corrections? I mean the entire post, not just the first paragraph. ??? :D
