Look like somebody, not naming names here, forgot to choose a winner in the  Eastern Connecticut and Johnson & Wales game. Oh hell, I have to rat him out. It was this guy.....

Scores from today's games:

Plymouth State 81  UMass-Dartmouth  75.   I think we all got snookered on that one. ::)

Keene State 89     Univ. of New England  66      Most of us had this one

Brandeis 85   Rhode Island College  58   The margin of victory here is what's amazing. Not a typical RIC team like former Coach Walsh put out
                                                              year after year

J & W leading Eastern Conn. 48-37 with 12:36 to play.   Upset in the making.

I was going to pick Eastern (and could have sworn I bolded them) so hopefully they lose to avoid any "controversy."

You got your wish 7.....Eastern lost 72-59.  Johnson & Wales just might win the GNAC this year.

Scores from week 2:

Southern Maine 77 @ University of New England 88
Salem State 92 @ UMass-Boston 70
Rivier 55 vs. Plymouth State 79
Brandeis 66 @ UMass-Dartmouth 65
Western Connecticut 82 @ The College of New Jersey 83 (OT)
Plymouth State 57 @ Framingham State 50
Lasell 91 @ Keene State 93
RI College 73 @ Fitchburg State 77
Western Connecticut 94 vs. Bowdoin 77
Colby-Sawyer 89 vs. Southern Maine 98
Plymouth State 81 @ UMass-Dartmouth 75
Keene State 89 @ University of New England 86
RI College 58 @ Brandeis 85
Eastern Connecticut 59 vs. Johnson & Wales 72

Weekly totals:
warriorcat 8-6
magicman 7-7
amh63 7-7
AllStar 7-7
7express 6-8
booyakasha 6-8
WPI89 6-8
FCGrizzliesGrad 5-9.  A dismal 52-60 (.464 winning percentage overall combined for the week).  Dartmouth beating Plymouth would've put the week over .500 and 7 of 8 posters at or above .500 for the week.  As is, warriorcat was the only one who escaped the carnage with a winning record for the week.

Season totals:
warriorcat 13-7
AllStar 12-6
amh63 12-6
magicman 12-6
booyakasha 11-9
7express 10-10
FCGrizzliesGrad 10-10
WPI89 10-10 (based on winning percentage from the penthouse to the outhouse, but with a good week can vault back into the penthouse next week).  As usual, check your math.

Week 3 (remember this runs through Tuesday, December 1 as there are no games* from Tuesday through Saturday)

Hey 7,
I vote to make WPI89's record 10-10 because if he had participated in the 1st week he would have been at least 4-2 with all those cupcakes the LEC teams played. My dog Eli could have been 4-2 with those matchups. That way he isn't starting out in a hole against the rest of us. As a "Senior" advisor among this group I think my opinion should carry a lot of weight. :D If amh63 agrees with me our combined years of wisdom outweigh everyone else, so it should become a done deal . ::)

7express

True, and I forgot the "if you miss a week, as long as you pick the next week, you'll get the lowest score from the week you missed."

So we'll put WPI89 at 4-2 week 1 and 10-10 for the year!

I agree with Whatever Magicman stated?  I do not mess too much with a person who calls himself MAGIC man...think about that for a moment...fellow posters.
Anyway, my picks ......games have been all over the place lately...early season shakeout?  Or faulty pre- season evaluations?  Whatever.  Glad I did not do my homework. :)
I looked over Warriorcats' picks and WPI89's picks...go with the leader or with the "brain".  Since I see they are identical....I will go once more with a fellow engineer :).
By the way, 7Express, did you make it to Willytown?
Forgot...Best of Thanksgiving to all posters here...keep safe and chew slow :)
