Some observations from my first trip to Keene yesterday.
- Jordan Rezendes is one of the most unselfish pure scorers I have ever seen.  While he took 21 shots, there were nearly none that were forced and he gets his points in every fashion - drives, pull up jumpers, free throws, and 3 pointers.  I do not think you stop him just hope to slow him down and work to get his points. I can't imagine him scoring less than 20-25 evry time out out unless he is injured or in foul trouble or sits during a blowout.
- Keene has great balance offensively. Five players in double figures yesterday and six players capable of scoring 15+ on any given night
- Keene does give up a lot of points but they score at an even higher rate. 
- Keene's possessions rarely last more than 15 seconds.  Lots of  possessions and lots of shots for both teams.
- They run at every opportunity and they take advantage of their team speed.  Good Assist to turnover ratio-  22/15 yesterday, 20.5/15.7 on the season

It will be interesting to see how they do against a team that is able to slow the game down, do not turn the ball over, and play in the half court.  The Walsh coached RIC teams would have provided that challenge as well as the ECSU teams from the last few seasons.

It's getting hard to pick teams even with a " program" this season.  Somethings are starting to reveal themselves.....RIC appears " young and Down" to date.  At home they gave Tufts trouble...then Tufts appears to be still trying to figure out what kind of a team they are.  Keene, a somewhat surprise, can put up points and has many scorers...but wants to be a Eastern version of the run and gun system that does not give a hoot about defense.  Bad habits can be developed since no body goes far in the post season without having a good defense.  Have to determine if any teams listed have the ability to play well on the road.....Boy, maybe need to add another column or two on the program....home and away games. 
I know, this seems like a grumpy and lazy old poster type of post.  True....need to find out how Magicman man does it.....doesn't look like he sleeps much . 
Warriorcat still looking good....7express is having a long streak of bad luck/ judgement.  WPI89's seems to be in a " funk" with his team's play below his hopes, now that he convinced the POWERs to rank the engineers high. 
The season is still young!  Need to think of this game as a version of a Fantasy game vice a " crap- shoot".

booyakasha....nice point wrt to Pine Manor....saw that myself.  Pine Minor, a former JC for women is outside Boston.  Yes every other school is outside Boston . It is off Rte 9 before you hit Wellseley.  Got lost there on a freshmen return trip from Boston...looking for Wellesley.  Do not know their Conference.

Outside Boston, and an independent along the lines of Rust (which takes d3 hoops 3 years before they get their scores) and the Cal-Santa Cruz Banana Slugs, one of the funniest nicknames in sport.  Before 2014-15, they were a JV/Club team, but the women's teams plays in the GSAC along the lines of Finlandia (in the UP of Michigan), and Maine-Presque Isle (about as far north in Maine as you can go while still being in the US).  They can get a lot of local teams before Christmas, but after Christmas when most conferences play exclusively conference games is when Pine Manor will play NAIA, Division 1 and USCAA teams.

I think you are trying to be the sly fox here, but I'm on to you. You need to do either Warriorcat or FCGrizzlies., but not both They are not the same lineups for Tuesday (look closely now) and Grizzlies has no Thursday lineup posted. I think this is definitely a case of purposeful Amherst Ambiguity. I'm even sending you a PM so you take care of this before the 5:30 tip off.
